Rudy Construction will begin pavement improvements to the southbound lane of Randel Rd on February 12, 2024. They will start at Huntington Ave. and work their way toward 63rd Street.
The Nichols Hills Police Department currently employs five full time civilians, Fourteen sworn officers, and two or more part time communications personnel. These individuals are assigned specific positions within the department, which constitute a variety of duties. A number of these positions are dual or multi- role positions in that the individuals within the positions actually perform more than one function.
ONGOING PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS
In the Police Departmentís continuing effort to provide better levels of service to the community, several programs have been developed. These programs cover a broad spectrum, but all are designed to enhance police services and make the prevention of criminal activity more effective. Nichols Hills Crime Prevention Program Inc. - Formed and supported by Nichols Hills residents since 1984, this program serves as the foundation for many community services dealing with safety and security.
