City Manager

S. Shane Pate II was selected as the City Manager for the City of Nichols Hills in 2016.  He served as Assistant City Manager beginning in August of 2016 until the long-time City Manager David Poole retired in January of 2017, and has proudly served as the City Manager since Poole’s retirement.
 
Mr. Pate holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Juris Doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.  From 2010 until 2016, Mr. Pate was associated with the law firm of Williams, Box, Forshee & Bullard, during which he served as an attorney for the City of Nichols Hills. He has served as a member of the Oklahoma Employee Insurance and Benefits Board since 2012.  Previously, he was a District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America.
