The City of Nichols has a new Deputy Director by the name of Carl Gray. Carl comes to the City of Nichols Hills Public Works Department from the City of Del City. There he worked as the Water and Waste Water Treatment Supervisor for 14 years.
Carl replaces Charles Hooper, who is now Director of Public Works, in May 2005. Carl was currently appointed by Governor Brad Henry to Water Works and Wastewater Works Advisory Council representing Environmental Training Center and Higher Education. He is, also, currently serving as Technical advisor to Oklahoma Municipal League Providers Steering Committee, President of Oklahoma Water and Pollution Control Association. He has worked for Oklahoma Rural Water Association as circuit rider and trouble shooter. He is one of six individuals who has 4 A Licenses.
Carl and his wife Dawn have two daughters Alix and Leah and reside in the town of Blanchard, Oklahoma.
