On 08/13/03 at approximately 1045 hours at 7300 block of Waverly, Officers responded to an intruder found in the home. The witnesses advised that two subjects were seen running from the house to a car parked on Dorchester Drive. The suspects were described as having dark complexions and speaking a foreign language. One may have been a woman wearing a ball cap the other was a male wearing a white shirt and shorts. They drove away from the scene in a beige or tan midsize vehicle. Circumstances indicate that this is probably an attempted Gypsy burglary. Please watch for any suspicious activity. (I.e. persons sitting in vehicles or approaching houses) If you see someone that you think is suspicious, call the police immediately.
