Part of Nichols Road Closed Due to Construction
The North and South bound lanes of Nichols Road between Avondale and Grand Blvd will be closed due to construction. Contractors are installing a 36” storm drain at the intersection of Grand and Nichols Road. It was not anticipated that the north and south bound lanes would be closed at the same time, the original plan was for only the north bound lane to be closed. Due to the depth of the excavating and for the safety of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, it has been determined that both lanes needed to be closed. We are working hard to get this street re-opened.
