Steven J. Goetzinger

A fourth-generation Oklahoman, Steven J. Goetzinger was born and raised in Woodward, Oklahoma, the son of a real estate abstractor and a school teacher. He graduated from Woodward High School in 1976. From Woodward, Goetzinger went on to the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a degree in business administration in 1980. He then attended Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he received a juris doctorate in 1983. Since 1990, Steve and his wife, Carol, have made their home in Nichols Hills, where they have reared three children.

Steve is a practicing attorney and entrepreneur who is a member of Huntington Energy, L.L.C. along with Nichols Hills’ citizens David Herritt and Robert Samis. He is actively engaged in energy and service businesses in several states, including abstracting and title insurance businesses in Northwest Oklahoma.

In 1994, Governor David Walters appointed Goetzinger to Oklahoma’s Commission of Marginally Producing Oil and Gas Wells. He was re-appointed to that commission in 1995 by Governor Frank Keating and served as chairman in 2000.

Steve and his family are members of Christ the King Catholic Church in Nichols Hills, where he has been a mass lector for several years.

Steve enthusiastically supports community development and infrastructure improvements for Nichols Hills. He is deeply honored to serve the residents of the City of Nichols Hills
