Call to Order.
Vice-Mayor Hoffman called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.; then led the flag salute. 2. Roll Call. Acknowledgment was made by Vice-Mayor Hoffman; Councilmember Goetzinger were present. a) Nomination and election of Mayor of City of Nichols Hills Councilmember Goetzinger nominated Peter Hoffman as Mayor, followed by a motion to elect Peter Hoffman as Mayor of the City of Nichols Hills. Seconded by Hoffman. AYES: Hoffman, Goetzinger. NAYS: None Absent: Clements b) Nomination and election of Vice-Mayor of the City of Nichols Hills. Discussion, Consideration and Possible Approval or disapproval of an ordinance amending Section 25-52.020 of the Nichols Hills City Code adding and removing definitions; amending section 25-52.030 of the Nichols Hills City Code relating to special use permits; adding a new subsection to section 25-52.030 of the Nichols Hills city code to regulate placement of distributed antenna systems; amending section 25-52.40 of the Nichols Hills City Code removing certain antenna structures available without special use permits; making provisions severable, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Kendall Parrish provided council with future advances in technology regarding special use permits, antennas. The proposed ordinance allows Nichols Hills to be prepared in advance of these technology changes. Goetzinger made a motion to send this to the Planning Commission for consideration. Seconded by Hoffman. AYES: Hoffman, Goetzinger. NAYS: None Absent: Clements a) Consider, Discuss and approve or disapprove an emergency section for the foregoing ordinance. No action taken. 8. Discussion, Consideration and Possible approval or disapproval of Termination Agreement with Cox TMI Wireless, L.L.C. of leased property at 1987 Westminster Place. Discussion, Consideration and Possible approval or disapproval of request received from the Nichols Hills Garden Tour to install 20 banners within the city beginning May 21, 2012. Nichols Hills Garden tour is schedule for Saturday, June 2, 2012, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with the rain date on Sunday, June 3, 2012 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. APPROVED: Moved by Goetzinger, seconded by Hoffman. Discussion, Consideration and Possible approval or disapproval of mutual agreement between Oklahoma County and the City of Nichols Hills to reconstruct, improve, repair and assist in the maintenance of certain city streets in the City of Nichols Hills pursuant to Title 69 O.S. 1903 (B). Discussion, Consideration and Possible approval or disapproval to purchase two handheld 800 MHz police radios. Cost will not exceed $5,500, and was approved in the FY 2011-2012 CIP budget.
