Mayor Clements called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.; then led the flag salute.

9.   Discussion, Consideration and Possible Approval of Pay Estimate No. 5 for Project No. PC-0901 & WC-1003 Dorchester Place and Camden Way Project in the amount of $46,238.26 to Atlas Paving Co. To be paid out of the 2008-2009 GO Bonds and other funds.

10.  Discussion, Consideration and Possible Approval of Amendment No. 1 in the amount of $4,500 for Project No. FC-1101 Ground Storage Tank Painting to Blastco Texas, Inc.  To be paid out of the 2011-2012 Nichols Hills Municipal Authority CIP Fund, as approved in the 2011-2012 Budget.

12.  Discussion, Consideration and Possible Approval of proclamation declaring the week of April 2nd through the 6th of 2012 as Arbor Week in the City of Nichols Hills.

13.  Discussion, Consideration and Possible Approval of agreement with the City of Oklahoma City for the Wilshire Avenue paving improvements, subject to approval of Oklahoma City Council.

14.  Discussion, Consideration and Possible Approval to purchase two computer workstations and one small server as part of our annual computer replacement program.  Cost will not exceed $6,500, and was approved in the FY 2011-2012 CIP budget.

15.  Discussion, Consideration and Possible Approval to transfer ownership of a 2009 Ford F-550 and equipment on Rescue 1, to the City of the Village for use by the Village Fire Department.

  1. Discussion, Consideration and Possible Approval to deny the tort claim submitted by Michael & Aimee Tebow in the amount of $ 562.45. Risk Manager Lindy Stormont recommends denial of the claim and submission to the city’s insurance.

Consider and approve A Resolution authorizing the sale of $2,500,000 of General Obligation Bonds, SERIES 2012 of the City of NICHOLS HILLS, Oklahoma; fixing the amount of Bonds to mature each year; fixing the MANNER, time and place the Bonds are to be sold; authorizing the publication of a Notice of Sale; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING OFFICIAL STATEMENTS, Amending, Extending, Ratifying and ApProving a bond counsel Contract and a financial services contract with reSpect to the Bonds, AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER ASPECTS OF THE BONDS AND ISSUANCE OF the BONDS.

  1. Discussion, Consideration and possible approval of sewer line rehabilitation work along Pennsylvania not to exceed $25,000.

 

 

APPROVED: Moved to authorize City Manager to work with Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club, City Attorney and City Engineer to effectuate the rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer line along Pennsylvania Avenue with expenditure not to exceed $25,000.  AYES: Clements, Hoffman, Goetzinger.
