Chairman Herzel called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

Acknowledgement was made by Chairman Herzel that she along with Members, Pat Schonwald, Mary Frates, Peg Malloy and Carlene Burger were present. The following members were absent: Lucy Covington, Marty Smith and Mary Ellen Ternes.
3. Approval of Minutes: a. Meeting – October 26, 2011 APPROVED: MOTION to approve the minutes was moved by Malloy, seconded by Burger. AYES: Herzel, Malloy, Frates, Schonwald and Burger. NAYES: none 4. Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action regarding recycling. APPROVED: MOTION to discontinue the recycling of glass moved by Burger, seconded by Schonwald. AYES: Herzel, Malloy, Frates, Schonwald and Burger. NAYES: none APPROVED: MOTION to reduce the operation hours of the Nichols Hills recycling center with manned hours was moved by Schonwald, seconded by Malloy. AYES: Herzel, Malloy, Frates, Schonwald and Burger. NAYES: none Discussion included possible avenues for educating residents of proper recycling habits and house side recycling. 5. Announcements. 6.
