1. Call to Order

Chairman Clements called the meeting to order at 5:48 p.m. 

 

2. Roll Call

Acknowledgement was by Chairman Clements that he along with members Flesher and Covington were present; and members Slater, Mahaffey were absent. 

 

3. Minutes:  Meeting – August 18, 2010

APPROVAL of minutes as modified and presented this evening moved by Flesher, seconded by Covington. AYES: Clements, Flesher, Covington

 

4. Public Hearing – Case No. 2010-05

Lot 7 - 10, Block 102 within the City of Nichols Hills, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma also known as 1804 Dorchester Place. Current Zoning is R-1-75. The applicants are requesting a variance to build a closet onto their home, 4 feet past the setback line.  The original home is on a 5 foot setback.


5. Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action on Case No. 2010 - 05, for which the owners of 1804 Dorchester Place have requested a variance to build a closet onto their home, 4 feet past the setback.  The original home is on a 5 foot setback.


APPROVED :  Moved that application number 2010-05 be approved in accordance with submitted application as presented at this meeting because:
I. The application of the ordinance to this particular piece of property would create an unnecessary hardship:
II. Such conditions are peculiar to this particular piece of property;
III. The granting of this variance will not cause substantial detriment to the public good, or impair the purposes and intent of the ordinance or the comprehensive plan; and
IV. The variance is the minimum necessary to alleviate the unnecessary hardship.
 Made by Covington, seconded by Flesher.  AYES: Clements, Flesher, Covington.
