City Clerk & Finance
The city clerk’s office is responsible for maintaining the agendas and the minutes for all boards and commissions such as City Council, Nichols Hills Municipal Authority and Planning Commission. This office is also responsible for maintaining the preservation of documents, contracts, agreements, records, and archives of the city as well as the City’s Code of Ordinances.
The Finance Department manages the city’s finances. The City of Nichols Hills and Nichols Hills Municipal Authority have received Unqualified Audits and CAFR Awards
(Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) for over two decades. The CAFR must comply with Generally Accepted Accounting principles and all applicable legal requirements.
The Finance Department works closely with Gerald Marshall, City Treasurer
for treasury responsibilities.
