Nichols Hills resident, Zach D. Taylor celebrated 25 years as Executive Director of the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG).
Taylor has led the regional organization which represents over one million people and an area of over 3,000 square miles,developing collaborations to protect the regionís ground water, implementing an enhanced 9-1-1 system, promoting transportation improvements, maintaining air quality, encouraging citizen led strategic plans for the region.
He was honored this spring with the Citizens League Jean McLaughlin Award and had previously received the Citizens League Board Member of the Year Award. Taylor and his wife, Alison, have two daughters, Elizabeth, 22, and Lauren, 19.
While being extremely involved as Director of ACOG, Taylor has also served the Central Oklahoma community in many volunteer capacities. Among his past and present organizational affiliations are:
