The City of Nichols Hills, Oklahoma (pop. 4056) is seeking candidates for the position of City Manager. The City Manager serves as the chief executive officer and head of the administrative branch of the city government under a three member city council (one City Manager in the past twenty-four years).
Strong communication, administrative and employee relations skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with various community groups is a must.The City of Nichols Hills has sixty-five full-time employees and a general fund operating budget of almost $4 M.
Previous experience in municipal government management and a postgraduate degree in public administration, management, or other related field is preferred. Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.
