Easy Outdoor Living with Style
This year’s Nichols Hills Garden Tour is back after a year off due to scheduling difficulties last spring. And its theme of bringing the indoors....outdoors.....is certain to get your creative juices flowing to improve your own garden areas. This year’s tour is evidence of Oklahomans’ growing interest in combining indoor/outdoor living. Three of the homes have outdoor kitchens with every garden on the tour a testament to the benefits of thoughtful, beautiful surroundings on any family’s psyche. The garden tour promises to stir your passions about container gardening and will leave you with the impression that anything is possible!
The Nichols Hills Garden Tour was founded in 1990 as a means of raising money for the beautiful parks and “greenways” throughout Nichols Hills. There are 31 of them in all, enjoyed by people from all around Oklahoma City.
Nichols Hills Annual Garden Tour will be held on Saturday June 9th, 2007 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Tickets are only $10 in advance and $15 at the gardens. Tickets can be purchased at Crescent Market, 42nd Street Candy, Horn Seed Company, Makeup Bar, No Regrets, On A Whim, TLC (Memorial and Northwest Expressway locations), Trochtas, Wilshire Garden Market and other area merchants.
