3.      Discussion, consideration and possible action concerning the redevelopment of Grand Boulevard Park.

Co-Chair Hoffman provided a brief yet detailed summary of events leading up to this point regarding the redevelopment of Grand Boulevard Park.  Committee members were informed of the upcoming general obligation bond election to be held around January 2014.  Also noted was the anticipated $3 million allocation of said bond issue toward the redevelopment of Grand Boulevard Park.

Scott Howard, Landscape Architect responded to questions about anticipated cost and plans.  Committee members were advised the $3 million would be invested in the infrastructure of the Park.  Mostly to include the underground channel on the north end of the park and perhaps one water feature.

Discussion included the bike and walking trails throughout the park.  The committee recognized the landscape drawings from 2008 and the need of donated private funds to complete the beautification of the park.

4.      Adjournment.   There being no further business, Co-Chair Hoffman adjourned the meeting.
