Grand Blvd Paving will continue Tuesday morning May 22, 2018. Grand Blvd will be closed from Nichols Road to Sherwood Lane. Sherwood Lane to NW 63rd will be closed on June 5th for concrete paving until project is completed. Projected completion date is September 1, 2018. (Project PC-1702)

1. Call to Order.
Mayor Clements called the meeting to order at 4 p.m.
2. Roll Call.
Acknowledgment was made by Mayor Clements that she along with Vice-Mayor Hoffman and Councilmember Goetzinger were present.
Mayor Clements acknowledge the presents of citizens, offering them 2 minutes each to speak before council.
Mr. Henry Hood, general counsel of Chesapeake Energy advised he is present as a resource and offering of guidance to the city council.
3. Workshop regarding commercial development and preservation and enhancement of sales tax base for the City of Nichols Hills, and development and redevelopment of Nichols Hills Plaza, with possible action as desired by the Council.
City attorney John Michael Williams reminded council members this agenda item allows for discussion of three separate matters, first being commercial development, secondly the preservation and enhancement of sales tax base for the City of Nichols Hills and third the development and redevelopment of Nichols Hills Plaza.
Council and Staff discussed Sales Tax and the importance that revenue has on the continuance of vital services to Nichols Hills. Additional discussion included possible communication with the management of Chesapeake Energy.
Throughout the discussion of this agenda item, the following motions were made:
APPROVED: The motion moved by Hoffman, to request City Attorney draft a perspective letter to Chesapeake along the lines as presented by city attorney to be signed by each member of the city council with this letter to be considered at special meeting to be held at 4 p.m. November 28, 2011, was seconded by Goetzinger. AYES: Clements, Hoffman, Goetzinger. NAYS: None
