1.      Call to Order.

 

Mayor Lippert called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.; then led the flag salute.

6.      PUBLIC HEARING: 1601 NW 63rd Street PUD Application. Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action on the application filed by Blackstone Commercial Property Advisors, L.C. to rezone 1601 NW 63rd Street, Nichols Hills, Oklahoma, from the “E-1” Estate District to “PUD” Planned Unit Development District and to adopt a “PUD” Planned Unit Development District and a “PUD” Planned Unit Development Master Development Plan entitled the Enclave at Glenbrook Terrace, for residential use.

 

Motion to Continue the Public Hearing until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday February 8, 2011 was made by Hoffman, seconded by Clements.  AYES: Lippert, Clements, Hoffman  

 

 

7.Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action to approve Pay Estimate No. 3 on Project No. PC-1003 to Shell Construction, Inc. in the amount of $17,644.30. To be paid out of 2009 and 2010 GO Bonds and other funds.

8.Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action to approve Pay Estimate No. 8 on 2009 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation to Jordan Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $69,800.49. To be paid out of 2009 GO Bonds and other funds.

9.         Discussion, Consideration and Possible to approve Pay Estimate No. 1 on 2008-2009 Paving, Drainage and Water Improvements to Atlas Paving Co. in the amount of $282,285.42. To be paid out of 2008 and 2009 GO Bonds and other funds.

10.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action to approve Pay Estimate No. 2 on Booster House Piping, Equipment & Controls to Urban Contractors, LLC in the amount of $33,644.47. To be paid out of 2008 GO Bonds and other funds.

11.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action regarding acceptance of Temporary Easement from the Board of Education of the City of Oklahoma City, now known as District I-89.

12.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action regarding Oklahoma City Orchestra’s request to hold the kick-off party for the Decorator’s Show house on February 1, 2011, with the actual Decorator’s Show House beginning May 1, 2011.

13.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action on Tort claim in the amount of $ 1,595.90 submitted by Bruce and Anne Crum for damages occurring on December 8, 2011 at 1524 Camden Way.  Risk Manager Frank Finley recommends denial of the claim and submission to the city’s insurance carrier.

14.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action to allow Allied Arts to install 80 banners from January 31, 2011 to February 14, 2011.

15.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action to allow Pi Beta Phi to install 10 to 20 banners from February 15, 2011 to March 2, 2011.

16.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action regarding the budget adjustment #1 to the 2010–2011 budgets. Finance Director recommends approval.

17.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action to approve a resolution calling a general election to be held on April 5, 2011 for the purpose of electing a council member from Ward Three of the City of Nichols Hills, Oklahoma; setting forth the qualifications for such office, the term of the office to be filled, the filing period of candidates for such office, and the manner of holding said election; providing for election procedures; directing the city clerk to cause this resolution to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city; directing the city clerk to notify the Oklahoma County Election Board of the date of the election and the content hereof by delivering a copy of this resolution to the secretary of said board; directing the city clerk to furnish said board a current map of the city, a copy of the city charter, as it applies to the conduct of elections, and any other information required by law or necessary for conducting said election; authorizing the closing of a precinct, partially contained within the city, in which no persons reside; and containing related.

18.     Discussion, Consideration and Possible Action regarding request to hold the 2011 Earth Day Celebration on Friday, April 15, 2011 and Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the form First Church of Christ Scientist.
