Grand Blvd Paving will continue Tuesday morning May 22, 2018. Grand Blvd will be closed from Nichols Road to Sherwood Lane. Sherwood Lane to NW 63rd will be closed on June 5th for concrete paving until project is completed. Projected completion date is September 1, 2018. (Project PC-1702)

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL JOINT MEETING OF THE NICHOLS HILLS CITY COUNCIL AND NICHOLS HILLS  ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH AND SUSTAINABILITY COMMISSION ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26 AT 3:00P.M.; TOWN HALL, 6407 AVONDALE DRIVE, NICHOLS HILLS, OKLAHOMA, 73116

 

MEMBERS PRESENT:         Peter Hoffman, Mayor

                                                John Lippert, Vice-Mayor

                                                Sody Clements, Councilman

                                               

 

OTHERS PRESENT:             David Poole, City Manager

                                                Michael D. O’Neal, City Attorney

Mary Frates, EHS Chairman

Nancy Herzel, EHS Member

                                                Pat Schonwald, EHS Member

                                                Marty Smith, EHS Member

                                                Kristi Hort, Finance Director/City Clerk

                       

Mayor Hoffman called the meeting to order and declared a quorum present to conduct business, followed by the pledge of allegiance.

 

Motion was made by Vice-Mayor Lippert, seconded by Councilman Clements approving the Earth Day Celebration to be held at the Christ Science Church in Nichols Hills between April 22, 2010 and April 24, 2010.

 

      Aye:     Hoffman, Lippert, Clements

      Nay:    None

 

A motion was made by Vice-Mayor Lippert, seconded by Councilman Clements to approve the temporary facility use licenses between the City of Nichols Hills and Chesapeake Land Development, LLC contingent on City Attorney John Williams modification of the this license to be a legal document for a municipality.

 

      Aye:     Hoffman, Lippert, Clements

      Nay:    None

 

Vice-Mayor Lippert moved that the City Council deny approval of a green car parade to be held during Earth Day festivities.  Councilman Clements seconded the motion.

 

      Aye:     Hoffman, Lippert, Clements

      Nay:    None

 

The motion to adjourn this meeting was made by Vice-Mayor Lippert, and seconded by Councilman Clements.
