Grand Blvd Paving will continue Tuesday morning May 22, 2018. Grand Blvd will be closed from Nichols Road to Sherwood Lane. Sherwood Lane to NW 63rd will be closed on June 5th for concrete paving until project is completed. Projected completion date is September 1, 2018. (Project PC-1702)

MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE NICHOLS HILLS CITY COUNCIL HELD TUESDAY, JANUARY 12TH 2010 AT 5:30P.M.; TOWN HALL, 6407 AVONDALE DRIVE, NICHOLS HILLS, OKLAHOMA, 73116

 

MEMBERS PRESENT:         Peter Hoffman, Mayor

            Mayor Hoffman called the meeting to order and declared a quorum present to conduct business.  The Mayor led the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Vice-Mayor Lippert made a motion to approve a resolution calling a general election to be held on April 6, 2010 for the purpose of electing a council member from Ward Two of the City of Nichols Hills, Oklahoma; setting forth the qualifications for such office, the term of the office to be filled, the filing period of candidates for such office, and the manner of holding said election; providing for election procedures; directing the city clerk to cause this resolution to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city; directing the city clerk to notify the Oklahoma County Election Board of the date of the election and the content hereof by delivering a copy of this resolution to the secretary of said board; directing the city clerk to furnish said board a current map of the city, a copy of the city charter, as it applies to the conduct of elections, and any other information required by law or necessary for conducting said election; authorizing the closing of a precinct, partially contained within the city, in which no persons reside; and containing related provisions. Councilmember Clements seconded the motion.

The motion to approve Amendment No. 2/Change Order No. 2 on project No. WC-0901 to Urban Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $<6,210.00> and $7,100.00 respectively, was made by Vice-Mayor Lippert and seconded by Councilmember Clements.

Nay:    None

 

 

Councilmember Clements made a motion to approve payment of Payment Estimate No. 4 (Final) on Project No. WC-0901 to Urban Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $ 20,361.56. To be paid out of GO Bond funds.  Vice-Mayor Lippert seconded the motion.

Nay:    None

 

 

Vice-Mayor Lippert made the motion to approve payment of Payment Estimate No. 4 on project No. PC-0701 to Krapff-Reynolds Construction Co. in the amount of $ 227,000.79. To be paid out of GO Bond funds. This motion was seconded by Councilmember Clements.

Nay:    None

 

After lengthy discussion regarding the rules of operation of the Environment, Health and Sustainability Commission, Vice-Mayor Lippert moved to modify the proposed rules and regulations, as stated by council members this evening, and present to EHS for their review.
